About You and this Role
As a Product Manager at Liferay, you are the voice of our product. You are responsible for maximising the value of work done by the development team. As a key member of our global prodct team, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process from discovery to delivery. You will work directly with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ship meaningful and exciting products.

Key Objectives

Maximize the value delivered by the product through effective backlog management and prioritization.

Translate complex technical requirements and challenges into clear, actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.

In collaboration with the team lead, provide technical guidance to the development team, ensuring that the product is built with the appropriate architecture, scalability, and performance standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product priorities and roadmap.

Measure and analyze key product metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Mentor product team members and contribute to the overall growth and success of the product organization.

Conduct continuous product discovery, competitive analysis, and market research to identify new feature opportunities and validate business viability. Activeky contribute to the mid-to-long-term Cloud product strategy and help shape the future product roadmap alongside senior product leadership.
Required Qualifications

Strong software experience in either a development or Product Manager/ Owner role.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience.

Strong understanding of Cloud computing concepts, infrastructure, and Kubernetes.

Experience working with or defining Cloud-native products or services.

Ability to speak and write English fluently.

Humble, collaborative, and comfortable working in cross-functional teams.

Flexible and adaptable in fast-changing environments.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) framework is a plus.

Organization and proactivity

This position requires traveling a few times a year.
Preferred Qualifications

CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) certifications or familiarity with CNCF fundamentals.

Experience working with or defining PaaS/SaaS products.
