We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to develop, update and maintain test cases, test plans, reports and timelines while ensuring alignment with Product Management and Development team schedules. This role involves the creation and execution of both manual and automated test cases as part of an overall Quality Assurance Test Strategy, working closely with Software Development, DevOps, Project and Product Management. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for live events, entertainment and technology, along with extensive experience in QA methodologies and team leadership.
Responsibilities

Develop, update and maintain test cases, test plans, reports and timelines for the project

Creation and execution of both manual and automated test cases and scripts as part of an overall Quality Assurance Test Strategy

Collaboration with Software Development, DevOps, Project and Product Management to define test strategies for product requirements, new features, enhancements and bugs

Implementation of best practices for QA processes throughout the project's lifecycle

Test web applications for dedicated internal use as well as public use

Review of test suites, assertions and tests within code repositories to ensure a high level of quality

Comparison of front-end data points to back-end table values to validate the relationship between user experience and database

Resolution of complex technical problems

Work within an Agile/Scrum environment with onshore and off-shore team members
Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of related work experience

Proficiency in Node.JS, TypeScript and GraphQL

Expertise in setting up a testing framework using Playwright or similar tools

Skills in code management with Git
-
Background in Azure DevOps and its suites of tools including Azure Test Plans and Pipelines
-
Capability to create, execute and debug API tests using Postman
-
Competency in creating and maintaining performance tests using K6
-
Experience with performance and load testing of web applications using JMeter
-
Familiarity with ticket tracking tools such as Jira
-
Understanding of code coverage and continuous integration tools

Knowledge of setting up local environments for development and testing

Clear understanding of the relationship between front-end user experience and back-end database
-
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
