Company Overview
Solfacil is Brazil’s leading (#1 by market share) and fastest-growing residential solar and battery storage company. Our ecosystem enables installers to help homeowners go solar in a way that is fast, easy, and affordable — combining financing, hardware distribution (panels, inverters, batteries), IoT, and digital experiences.
As we look ahead, Solfacil is evolving into a world-class energy platform — financing home energy equipment, managing the energy itself to reduce costs and improve resiliency, and expanding into new, adjacent verticals.
Our goal is to become an AI native company in order to accelerate our progress towards this future, and we are already on the path. We have achieved a clear and compelling ROI across our existing deployments of 100+ AI agents, and we are now doubling down on these investments. Over time, we expect that AI and autonomous agents will do the recurring work of every business domain, and eventually become an army that can be deployed towards unlocking new and innovative business opportunities. This evolution will free our people to focus on judgment, growth, and the decisions that compound enterprise value, including deploying our AI resources towards the most valuable endeavors.
We are looking for exceptional talent to join the team that sits at the center of that shift — strategic builders who will work directly with senior leaders (C-Levels, Directors and department heads) across the company to discover where AI-enabled value lies and how AI can expand the limits of what is possible, to conceptualize and create the agents that become Solfacil’s new operating layer, and to ultimately deliver meaningful commercial value from those agents. This is high-visibility work that impacts our company trajectory and is reported on at the board-level, and as a result a great opportunity for career acceleration.
Role Summary
As an AI Strategy Specialist, you will work directly with the Chief Strategy Officer and senior leaders across our company to find where AI creates the most commercial value, define what “great” looks like for each domain, and co-build the agents that deliver it. You will be embedded with Directors and department heads — diagnosing their highest-value work, forming a point of view on it, building the agent that does it to a bar their C-Level leadership accepts, and ultimately contributing to the company’s results through the work done by your agents.
The agents you build will shape how the company operates: the goals we set, the strategies we run, the number of opportunities we can execute against, and the way our entire business is run day to day. This is a rare seat for someone who wants to do real strategic work and get their hands dirty building the thing — and to help define how an entire company makes the leap to operating on AI. Your success will be defined by the quality of agents that you build and, over time, the resulting business outcomes that are delivered.
This is a high-visibility, high-leverage individual-contributor role for someone with a top-tier consulting background who wants to operate at the frontier of AI and business, and who wants to be on an IC path for a meaningful period of time. Career growth in this role will come from growing scope/ownership and taking on more challenging, high-autonomy problems over time vs. managing teams of people.
Mission
Find where AI can create the most commercial value across Solfacil’s functions, define what “great” looks like for each, and co-build with leaders the domain agents that deliver it — at a quality bar their C-Level leadership accepts — compounding those agents and the shared infrastructure into the new operating layer of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Deeply understand our business context and strategic evolution, the problems we need to solve within your domains, and the value of solving them. This context is critical to ensure we set the right direction for our work and focus our efforts in the right places.
Deeply understand what AI is and isn’t capable of, and how it can be most effectively applied. This context is critical for us to apply the right solution to the right problem, and also evolve both the solutions we bring and the problems we solve over time as the technology evolves.
Find the highest-value work and build the agents that get it done. Within each domain, develop a sharp nose for which recurring work carries the most commercial value, define what “great” looks like for it, and build the domain agent that performs it to that bar — orchestrating other AI tools as components where they help.
Define the bar before building. Co-author the evaluation — the explicit “definition of correct” — with the domain owner, and get their leadership to sign it. What “good” and “accepted” mean is agreed up front, before a single agent is built.
Build the agents, hands-on. Design and build each agent end-to-end — skills, sub-agents, memory, data, and connectors — iterating through breakage until it works. You build; you do not delegate the build.
Drive to acceptance and real adoption. Get each agent to the bar where the domain’s leadership accepts its recurring output in a single review cycle, then into the team’s real working cadence — and push automation deeper over time. You are accountable for outcomes and adoption, not for artifacts shipped.
Make agents collaborate and compound. Ensure your agents work well with the agents other domains are building, and that everything you build feeds the shared agentic infrastructure — reusable memory, patterns, and connectors — so each build makes the next one faster.
Shape how the business operates. Bring the business point of view back up. Use what you learn building to influence each function’s goals, strategy, and ways of working — and how Solfacil thinks about its agentic operating layer overall.
What You Bring
Experience & profile
3+ years at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG strongly preferred), or equivalent strategy/operating experience.
~3–5 years of total professional experience; the level of a strong consultant on an IC track who wants to stay hands-on for a meaningful period.
Track record of success in solving commercial, growth, or transformation problems — and a genuine commercial instinct for where value lives.
Capabilities & mindset
Business fluency and judgment. You understand business concepts deeply and bring sound judgment — because gaps in your judgment become gaps in the agent.
Structured, first-principles problem-solving. You can take an ambiguous domain, decompose it, form hypotheses, and synthesize complex inputs into a clear point of view.
Builder, not just adviser. You love getting your hands dirty and building things — and you understand that in an AI-native company, everyone builds regardless of seniority. You do the work; you are not someone who sits back and tells others what to do.
AI fluency and obsession. Strong baseline proficiency with AI (Claude) and a hunger to become an expert fast — immersing yourself, building things, watching them break, and fixing them.
Resilient, winning mentality. Agentic work is new: there are bugs, and it takes many iterations to get things right. You can stop, think, iterate, and persist through change over time without losing momentum.
Executive communication and presence. You can engage senior leaders as a credible thought partner and bring them along.
Strong English proficiency, written and verbal.
Why This Role
You will help define how an entire company operates on AI by co-formulating the AI strategy for your domains and building the agents that run major parts of our business. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior leaders across every function, own the commercial outcome of putting AI to work in their domains, and shape the goals and strategies that flow from it. For the right person, this is one of the most interesting seats in the company.
Work Model: On-site 4 days per week (Monday thru Thursday)
