Develop and apply actuarial models and risk analyses to support insurance pricing, loss ratio assessment, and portfolio performance

Support the structuring and optimization of insurance products and programs (credit insurance, extended warranties, asset protection)

Perform risk assessments and financial simulations to guide underwriting decisions and commercial proposals

Partner with Commercial and Business Development teams to provide technical expertise in customer negotiations and solution design

Analyze claims, loss trends, and portfolio data to identify risk drivers and improvement opportunities

Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of insurance strategies, policies, and underwriting guidelines

Support negotiations with insurers and partners, ensuring technical accuracy and financial sustainability

Prepare and present actuarial analyses, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and governance standards

Leverage data analytics and market benchmarks to enhance pricing models and predictive capabilities
You will be part of the VFS Brazil Insurance Broker structure, reporting to the Director, Insurance, and working closely with Commercial, Business Development, internal insurance teams, and external insurers.

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or related field

Actuarial certification or progress is a strong advantage

Experience in actuarial analysis, insurance pricing, or risk modelling

Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting, and portfolio risk management

Experience with analytics tools (Excel advanced, SQL, Python, R)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to translate analysis into business recommendations

Strong communication skills

Proactive and autonomous profile

Fluent in English and Portuguese
