What you will do:
- Analyze existing applications, services, and platform components.
- Identify, map, and document systems with incomplete or missing documentation.
- Partner with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to capture both technical and functional knowledge.
- Produce technical and business documentation, connecting architecture, integrations, data flows, and business objectives.
- Create and maintain operational runbooks, incident response procedures, and monitoring documentation.
- Establish documentation standards, templates, and governance practices across the organization.
- Ensure documentation remains up to date following releases, incidents, and system changes.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and knowledge management across teams.
What we are looking for:
- Strong experience documenting complex and distributed systems.
- Ability to understand and document existing systems with little or no prior documentation.
- Knowledge of DevOps, observability, monitoring, and incident management practices.
- Experience creating both technical and functional documentation for different audiences.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Git, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented mindset with a focus on knowledge structuring.
- Advanced English proficiency for working in an international environment.
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud architecture and cloud-based platforms.
- Knowledge of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices and observability frameworks.
- Experience with documentation governance and enterprise knowledge management initiatives.
- Familiarity with software architecture diagrams, process mapping, and system modeling techniques.
- Experience working in global and cross-functional teams.
