Função: Data and Analytics (CA)
Título: Junior Data Engineer - Indaiatuba/SP - 121065

As a Junior Data Engineer for the John Deere Financial (JDF) group, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to supporting the data platform for advanced analytics and model building, enabling efficient customer services in areas such as automatic loan approvals.
Our team partners with product managers and data practitioners to design, scale, and deliver full-stack data solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers, develop your skills, and grow your career within a global environment.

Main Responsibilities

Assist in the development of data models, data pipelines, and basic REST APIs to provide data to downstream systems;
Participate in debugging, fixing application issues, and performing basic root cause analysis under guidance;
Learn and follow test-driven development (TDD) approaches and clean code principles;
Support the team in maintaining data pipeline security frameworks and reducing technical debt;
Actively work as an Agile team member, participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.

Skills You Need

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience;
Advanced Engish: broad vocabulary, good grammar, conducts meetings, argues, negotiates and provides training;
Foundational knowledge or internship experience with ETL, Data Modeling, and SQL/NoSQL databases;
Basic understanding or academic/project experience with API Development (preferably Java/Spring Boot) and Python;
Familiarity with Git and basic DevOps/CI-CD concepts (e.g., Jenkins);
Conceptual understanding or basic exposure to Big Data tools and Cloud Environments (e.g Apache Spark, Databricks, Data Lake concepts, and AWS basic services like S3).

Passionate, curious, and a strong desire to learn new complex technical areas;
Collaborative mindset with a focus on product quality and team success;
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
Basic exposure to AWS services (Lambda, RDS, API Gateway);
Interest or initial knowledge in modern AI trends, such as LLMs and GenAI concepts.
