We are seeking a highly strategic technical leader for the role of Senior Manager, Software Architecture & AI Solutions. In this position, you will serve as the primary catalyst for the technological evolution of our platform, combining the foundations of enterprise distributed architecture with the forefront of Artificial Intelligence innovation.
You will be responsible for leading and developing a senior team of architects, defining scalable system standards while driving the architecture strategy for AI solutions and the adoption of Generative AI and AI Engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle. We are looking for a leader who can seamlessly navigate between executive-level discussions and deep technical mentorship with engineering teams.
Qualifications
Proven experience leading and managing senior technical teams, including Architects and Principal Engineers.
Demonstrated experience as a Software Architect or Principal Engineer designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
Strong expertise in architecting systems integrated with Large Language Models (LLMs) and traditional Machine Learning models.
Hands-on experience implementing solutions using AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, and vector databases.
Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps practices, including model evaluation, versioning, drift monitoring, and inference API cost management.
Strategic vision for leveraging AI to optimize the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Deep understanding of microservices architecture, messaging systems, system resiliency, and API design.
Extensive experience with enterprise cloud ecosystems such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as data architecture and Big Data environments.
Experience working with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and managing architecture backlogs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with senior executive leadership.
Strong sense of ownership, servant leadership mindset, and adaptability in rapidly evolving technology environments.
Responsibilities
Design and govern standards for integrating Artificial Intelligence into enterprise systems, including patterns such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), autonomous agents, LLM orchestration, and event-driven architectures for AI solutions.
Lead the governance and adoption of AI tools (such as coding assistants and automation platforms) to accelerate productivity, improve code quality, and enhance the efficiency of development squads.
Establish security, data privacy, compliance, and monitoring guidelines (LLMOps/MLOps) for AI-powered models and systems.
Define and ensure the implementation of sound enterprise architecture practices, including Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, microservices, and high-availability system resilience.
Oversee cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient, secure, cloud-agnostic topologies integrated with large-scale data environments, including ingestion and analytical processing pipelines.
Identify technical debt and develop modernization strategies for legacy platforms with a strong focus on information security.
Lead, mentor, and support the career development of enterprise and solution architects through regular one-on-one coaching sessions and KPI-driven performance evaluations.
Promote knowledge sharing and organizational adoption of AI Engineering practices and emerging technology trends.
Translate complex AI architectures and initiatives into tangible business value propositions for directors, vice presidents, and business stakeholders.
Assess the economic viability of AI models and cloud infrastructure investments, ensuring cost-effective and financially sustainable solutions.
Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided.
Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and/or direct reports.
