This position will support the production area of recovery and work closely with the staff. The staff consists of 3 people (team leader, production specialist and process specialist) that support the operators that control the recovery of the enzymes downstream from fermentation. The team usually works on problem solving high priorities of the day that are shared during the LEAN board meeting early every day by the operators and issues are escalated as needed. The team needs to work together well, share responsibilities and prioritize the work.
Main Responsibilities:
- Automate analysis of online data comparing supervisory data versus recipe per product
- Automate overall equipment efficiency data collection and assessment in the recovery area
- Dashboard construction for Recovery Line Online Visualization
- Improve the structure (assets) in the system PI for results analysis in recovery
- Develop a tool for operators to justify process stops online
- Ad hoc activities to support the team
Requirements:
- Graduating courses in Bioprocess and Biotechnology Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Production Engineer or Automation Engineer
- Native Portuguese and advanced English
- Knowledge or affinity with data programming (VBA and/or Python), data analysis and dashboard construction
- Knowledge of LEAN concepts and tools
- Office Package especially Excel, Word and Power Point
Teamwork, proactive, good analytical skills, affinity with programing and data handling, able to work with minimal supervision, good written and spoken communication skills
