Ondaro is looking for a highly skilled and collaborative ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant – Service Mapping/CMDB/CSDM or ITAM to join our growing ServiceNow team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions focused on Service Mapping, CMDB, CSDM, and IT Asset Management, helping organizations improve service visibility, data accuracy, asset governance, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with clients, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to define technical strategies, establish best practices, ensure data integrity across the platform, and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support business and IT transformation initiatives.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the technical architecture and implementation of CMDB, Service Mapping, and ITAM solutions.
- Implement and govern the CSDM framework, ensuring perfect alignment between IT infrastructure, application portfolios, business services, and asset lifecycles.
- Develop and maintain top-down Service Maps, configuring entry points and optimizing Discovery patterns for accurate business service visibility.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Service Mapping, MID Servers, and CMDB Health (Identification and Reconciliation Engine - IRE).
- Design and optimize technical solutions for Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM), covering procurement, normalization, reclamation rules, and compliance.
- Support robust integrations across CMDB, ITAM, financial systems, and external discovery/monitoring platforms (utilizing Service Graph Connectors).
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring platform security configurations, data governance, and access controls are strictly maintained.
- Define technical standards and mentor Junior and Mid-Level Technical Consultants and Developers.
- Collaborate with Architects and Leadership on strategic technical decisions and data modeling.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Languages: Advanced English.
- Platform Core: Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM framework, Service Mapping, and ITAM (HAM & SAM) modules.
- CMDB & Mapping: Deep understanding of the IRE (Identification and Reconciliation Engine), CMDB Health dashboards, top-down Service Mapping, and Discovery methodologies.
- ITAM Expertise: Solid experience with ITAM processes, including hardware asset lifecycles, software normalization, license compliance, and procurement integrations.
- Integrations & Development: Experience with REST APIs, IntegrationHub, Service Graph Connectors, and advanced scripting for mapping and asset automation.
- Infrastructure: Good understanding of cloud architecture, containerization, enterprise networks, and monitoring tools.
- Leadership & Quality: Experience reviewing code, defining technical standards, and mentoring technical teams in large-scale environments.
- Certifications: ServiceNow CSA certification is required.
- Nice to Have: Certifications such as CIS - Service Mapping, CIS - Hardware Asset Management (HAM), CIS - Software Asset Management (SAM), or CIS - ITOM Discovery. Experience working in consulting firms, Agile environments, or global projects.
