Reporting to the Manager, SOX ITGC, the Senior Analyst will support the planning, execution, and reporting of IT General Controls (ITGCs) across Canada, USA, and International operations. This role acts as a key business partner, delivering value-added insights, strengthening the control environment, and contributing to the continuous maturity of the SOX program—particularly within SAP environments. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Lead and support the execution of IT General Controls (ITGCs), including planning, documentation, testing, and reporting.
Act as a subject matter expert for SAP ITGC controls, including governance over user access, change management, and system operations.
Provide leadership in SAP CRUD processes (Create, Read, Update, Delete) ensuring proper control design, execution, and monitoring of access and data integrity.
Oversee and enhance the governance and operationalization of IT controls related to SAP changes, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.
Serve as the primary interface with the SAP GRC Access Control (GRC AC) team, ensuring Segregation of Duties (SoD) risks, access provisioning, and control monitoring are effectively managed.
Partner with Internal Controls teams to design, document, and maintain process flows, narratives, and control testing evidence.
Prepare clear and well-documented audit workpapers, supporting conclusions and audit readiness.
Monitor and track control deficiencies and remediation efforts, providing actionable recommendations.
Perform root cause analysis and drive sustainable remediation strategies.
Support internal stakeholders and control owners to improve control effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Develop insightful and interactive reporting to communicate control effectiveness and drive accountability.
Act as a key point of contact for external auditors on ITGC-related topics. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
5–8+ years of experience in IT General Controls within SAP environments (ECC, S/4HANA, GRC AC).
Strong expertise in SAP security, access controls, and SoD frameworks.
Proven experience leading SAP CRUD governance and access lifecycle management controls.
Solid experience with SAP change management controls and governance frameworks.
Strong understanding of SOX ITGC requirements and US/Canadian regulatory expectations.
Hands-on experience with control testing, deficiency management, and audit support.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CISA or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience with Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, etc.).
Fluency in English is required; French is an asset.
