Job Summary:
The Solution Consultant role at Granicus is a strategic position designed for professionals who thrive at the intersection of business problem-solving, technical storytelling, and cross-functional execution. This is where public sector challenges meet transformative solutions—and you are the one connecting the dots.
As a Solution Consultant, you’ll own discovery and solution design for opportunities. You will guide government stakeholders through structured exploration of needs, and craft solution strategies that map to Granicus products, implementation realities, and agency mission priorities. You’ll partner with Revenue, Solution Architect, Product, and Professional Services teams to design and deliver solution recommendations that influence outcomes and set the tone for long-term partnerships. In this role, you’ll support active revenue opportunities through discovery, solution design, and executive‑level solution presentations.

This role is remote-first but will be based in Puerto Rico.
Essential Functions:

Lead solution strategy for high-priority opportunities in Spanish and English, including discovery, documentation, and stakeholder alignment, adapting approach based on audience needs

Translate and synthesize insights across Spanish and English to drive clear internal alignment

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Services, Architects, and Sales to validate design feasibility and delivery approach

Create compelling, outcome-driven solution narratives that reflect executive priorities and operational realities

Own solution design development for assigned opportunities, aligning product capabilities to business outcomes

Design and deliver value-based solution presentations and demos tailored to stakeholder personas
-
Incorporate value engineering concepts (ROI, cost of inaction, impact metrics) into solution positioning
-
Partner with Account Executives to shape opportunity strategy, stakeholder coverage, and deal progression
-
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product, and Services to validate feasibility and identify risks early
-
Adapt to varying expectations for Spanish-first vs. bilingual engagement across agencies

Security Requirement:
Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
Qualifications:

Professional fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
-
3+ years of experience in presales, consulting, solution design, or architecture for a SaaS company (ideally GovTech)

Ability to lead discovery conversations in Spanish and English within the first 60–90 days, including facilitating stakeholder discussions and producing clear, bilingual solution documentation

Demonstrated ability to develop structured solution designs using templates, visuals, and narratives
-
Proven track record of independently leading discovery, solution design, and internal coordination for complex opportunities
-
Strong executive communication skills and ability to adapt messaging based on stakeholder role and agency priorities
-
Ability to design modular, scalable solutions aligned to product capabilities, mission context, and delivery feasibility
-
Comfortable mentoring peers, shaping internal tools, and contributing to process improvements

Fluency with CRM systems (Salesforce), collaboration tools (Teams), and internal documentation platforms

Solution Consultants lead discovery and technical demonstration activities to understand our customers’ needs and their overall goals. They conduct individual interviews, facilitate discovery workshops, and review content or data to glean insights – then develop actionable plans for enhanced digital experiences. They produce artifacts to aid the development of strategies that meet real human needs – including personas, journey maps, messaging frameworks and more. Our Solution Consultants are responsible for providing agencies with guidance in various spheres of business, including engagement strategy, business transformation, and digital and innovation capabilities.

As a Solution Consultant, you will utilize your excellent communication skills and deep experience to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle. You will create combined solutions of services and technology to facilitate critical business objectives for Granicus customers.

Developing and delivering effective Pitch, Solution, and Technical demonstrations of Granicus solutions that clearly show how they will help the customer achieve their goals

Building and maintaining a library of solutions, customer examples, supporting collateral, and POCs

Being a strategic sales and technical resource for the sales organization

Guiding technical scoping conversations with the agency and implementation teams

Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs

Assisting with sales and our own team's learning paths through content, coaching, and training projects

Learning the full suite of the Granicus platform through constant training, reading product releases, and internal product discussions

Assisting with lead generation and marketing efforts through webinar and conference support
