We are looking for a Senior System Engineer (focused on Virtualization).
Your main tasks will be:
- Design, implement, administer, and continuously improve enterprise virtualization platforms based on VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V across both Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and traditional SAN-based architectures.

Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, security, and reliability of virtualized environments and supporting data center infrastructure through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and operational excellence initiatives.

Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, lifecycle management activities, and the integration of virtualization platforms with cloud and hybrid infrastructure services.

Collaborate closely with SRE, DevOps, Network, L2 Support, and Remote Hands teams to deliver resilient infrastructure solutions, resolve complex production issues, and conduct root cause analysis for critical incidents.

Manage and optimize enterprise storage, SAN, backup, and disaster recovery solutions while implementing industry best practices across VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, Hyper-V, and SCVMM environments.

Drive infrastructure automation and continuous improvement by evaluating existing environments, identifying optimization opportunities, developing automation scripts, and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
We expect from you:
- Strong expertise in VMware virtualization technologies, including ESXi, vCenter, and enterprise-scale VMware environments.

Hands-on experience with VMware vSAN, including deployment, administration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, storage policy management (SPBM), lifecycle management, and HCI operations.

Extensive experience with Microsoft virtualization platforms, including Hyper-V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM/VMM).

Solid knowledge of virtual networking within VMware and Hyper-V environments, including vSwitches, Distributed Switches, VLANs, NIC teaming, network segmentation, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Strong practical experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and storage protocols such as iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and FCoE.

Proficiency in automation and scripting using tools such as PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.

Experience with core Microsoft infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related enterprise technologies.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills in complex enterprise infrastructure environments.

English level - B1+.
