About the role:
We are looking for a hands-on and service-oriented IT Service Desk Intern to support our Rio de Janeiro office operations. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, who enjoys solving problems, and thrives in a dynamic startup environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth day-to-day IT experience for employees, supporting equipment logistics, inventory management, technical support, and internal events setup, while also contributing to the overall office organization.
Job Responsibilities
IT Support & Service Desk
- Provide first-level technical support to employees (laptops, peripherals, connectivity, and basic troubleshooting)
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including device preparation and account setup
- Support employees with equipment swaps, upgrades (e.g., RAM/memory improvements), and replacements
- Troubleshoot hardware and basic software issues, escalating when needed
Equipment & Inventory Management
- Support on IT equipment lifecycle management (receiving, tagging, tracking, and allocation)
- Support on maintaining accurate inventory records of laptops, accessories, and office IT assets
- Support logistics for shipping and receiving equipment (including remote employees if applicable)
- Ensure devices are properly prepared, formatted, and ready for use
Documentation & Process Organization
- Maintain updated documentation for IT processes and support procedures
- Help standardize workflows for inventory control and service desk operations
- Contribute to improving internal knowledge bases and guides for employees
Office IT Operations & Events
- Support IT setup for internal meetings and events (connectivity, presentations etc.)
- Assist in maintaining meeting rooms and shared IT resources
- Provide on-site assistance during events to ensure smooth technical execution
Administrative & Office Support
- Support general administrative tasks related to IT and office operations
- Partner with HR on onboarding logistics and office organization
- Help ensure the office environment remains functional and well-equipped
Education, Knowledge, Hard Skills & Abilities
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and networking concepts
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience (internship or academic projects) in IT support or service desk
- Fluent in English
