Responsibilities

Create and support scalable Java backend services that meet functional, performance, and reliability targets

Implement responsive, easy-to-use interfaces with Angular and JavaScript for a solid user experience

Design and maintain SQL schemas and queries, prioritizing MS SQL performance and data integrity
-
Apply TDD practices and deliver comprehensive unit tests for new features and existing modules
-
Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and Product stakeholders to deliver well-tested features through release
-
Review requirements and turn them into practical technical designs and implementation plans
-
Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement long-term fixes to prevent recurrence
-
Ensure high engineering standards through code reviews, refactoring, continuous improvements, and guideline compliance
-
Take part in Agile ceremonies such as daily meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Produce and update technical documentation describing functionality, system behavior, and key decisions
Requirements
-
Demonstrated 3+ years of experience delivering Java backend applications and services in production environments

Hands-on expertise building modern frontend applications with Angular and contemporary web development methods

Strong JavaScript skills for developing and sustaining interactive client-side functionality

Experience with SQL-based storage, ideally including Microsoft SQL Server

Proven practice with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing to ensure software quality

Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and activities from requirements to maintenance

Ability to write maintainable, efficient, and readable code that follows established engineering standards

Strong reasoning, troubleshooting, and investigative skills for solving complex technical problems

Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2) or above for effective written and verbal communication

Experience building, deploying, or operating applications on Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud services

Understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns for scalable, resilient systems

Experience working within Agile or Scrum teams using iterative delivery approaches
