We are seeking a Full-Stack Java Developer with solid backend skills and working familiarity with Angular to help maintain and modernize enterprise Gateway applications. The role leans primarily toward backend work while also contributing to several Angular frontends spanning both legacy and current frameworks. The ideal candidate takes satisfaction in enhancing existing applications through refactoring, dependency upgrades, vulnerability fixes, and ongoing modernization rather than starting projects from scratch.
Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot

Contribute to Angular-based applications, spanning both legacy Angular 8 and current Angular 18 codebases

Address security vulnerabilities flagged by Veracode and resolve CAST code quality issues

Carry out bug fixes, refactoring, dependency upgrades, and framework updates

Enhance application performance, maintainability, and security

Take part in code reviews and adhere to secure software development practices

Work alongside technical leads, QA engineers, architects, and security teams

Investigate and resolve production issues while upholding strong engineering standards
Requirements

At least 2 years of professional software development experience

Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot

Experience building and maintaining Angular applications, with Angular 8+ preferred
-
Solid knowledge of TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and REST APIs
-
Experience working with enterprise applications and sustaining existing codebases

Familiarity with application modernization, dependency upgrades, and framework migrations

Experience resolving security vulnerabilities and code quality issues using tools such as Veracode, CAST, SonarQube, or similar
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with a proactive ownership mindset

Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic enterprise environment with multiple concurrent priorities

Excellent English proficiency (B2 level or higher)
