In a nutshell
As an IT Infrastructure & Application Platform Support Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, deployment, support, performance, and continuous improvement of Eurofins' business-critical applications and their supporting infrastructure.
You will act as the primary technical liaison between Application Support, Release Management, Development, and Infrastructure teams, ensuring that application infrastructure requirements are delivered within agreed timelines and according to ITIL standards. The role combines infrastructure operations, application deployment, cloud administration, automation, and production support across on-premises and Azure-hosted environments.

Based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil; you will join a globally distributed team and organization to support a technology stack including .NET applications, IIS, Windows and Linux servers, Azure services, SQL Server databases, containers, CI/CD platforms, and automation tools, while driving operational excellence and continuous service improvement.
How can you help us?
you will work on the following areas:
Application Deployment & Release Management, to:

Implement and support application deployments using manual and automated deployment processes.

Ensure all releases are delivered according to approved change management procedures.
-
Provide technical support before, during, and after production deployments.
-
Collaborate with Release Managers to ensure successful implementation of releases with minimal service disruption.
-
Maintain deployment documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
-
Meet approved deployment schedules while ensuring quality and reliability.
Infrastructure & Platform Administration, to:
-
Administer and maintain IIS web servers supporting .NET-based applications.
-
Configure and manage websites, bindings, SSL certificates, authentication methods, application pools, virtual directories, and worker processes.
-
Manage Windows Server environments (2019, 2022 and 2025).
-
Support Linux-based systems and associated web platforms where required.
-
Work with Azure cloud services, including infrastructure and application platform services.
-
Support containerized environments using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
-
Ensure infrastructure requirements for applications are delivered within agreed SLAs.
Production Support & Incident Management, to:
-
Monitor application and infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring platforms.
-
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.
-
Participate in major incident bridges and drive technical issue resolution to closure.
-
Coordinate with infrastructure teams such as Network, Database Administration, Storage, Backup, Monitoring, Security, and Operations.

Provide Level 2 technical support for production environments.

Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to problem management activities.
Database & Application Support, to:
-
Support Microsoft SQL Server environments and coordinate with Database Administrators for performance optimization and issue resolution.

Assist with SQL maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic development activities.
-
Troubleshoot application performance issues involving IIS, ASP.NET, databases, cloud services, and integrations.

Support Azure-hosted application components including Azure Functions and related platform services.
Automation, DevOps & Continuous Improvement, to:

Automate operational activities using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
-
Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
-
Work with tools such as Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, and related DevOps platforms.

Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and infrastructure improvement.

Support transformation and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Service Management & Collaboration, to:

Act as the main point of contact for application teams regarding infrastructure requirements.

Work closely with Business Analysts, Application Support teams, Release Managers, Developers, and Infrastructure teams.

Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.

Participate in technical reviews, outage calls, project meetings, and operational governance activities.

Support infrastructure projects and organizational strategic programs as required.
