Responsibilities

Design and deliver Java services that perform well and scale as requirements expand

Implement adaptable Angular user interfaces and use JavaScript to provide engaging client workflows

Administer MS SQL data stores by modeling schemas, optimizing SQL queries, and ensuring data integrity
-
Integrate TDD habits into development and create automated unit tests for key application logic
-
Coordinate with Product, QA, and DevOps to promote smooth releases into production
-
Convert business needs into technical designs, implementation plans, and deliverable work items
-
Investigate incidents, pinpoint underlying causes, and deploy fixes that reduce future failures
-
Strengthen codebase health by joining code reviews, refactoring legacy areas, and adhering to team standards
-
Contribute to Agile iterations through daily syncs, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives

Update and maintain documentation so technical and operational knowledge stays current
Requirements
-
Professional experience of 2+ years building Java server-side applications and APIs
-
Proven skills creating contemporary Angular applications using solid frontend engineering techniques
-
Strong command of JavaScript for interactive, behavior-rich browser functionality

Experience working with SQL and relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server
-
Practical experience with Test-Driven Development and automated unit testing
-
Familiarity with end-to-end software delivery, including discovery, implementation, and support
-
Capability to produce clean, efficient code that is understandable and maintainable for the team
-
Strong analytical approach to troubleshooting and solving complex engineering problems
-
English proficiency at upper-intermediate B2 (or above) in writing and speaking
Nice to have

Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Platform or another cloud provider for building and running applications

Understanding of cloud architecture concepts for elastic and fault-tolerant systems

Experience working within Scrum or Agile processes with regular iteration planning

Comfort working with distributed teams using structured communication and coordination
-
Skill in maintaining positive collaboration through feedback, priority alignment, and shared outcomes
