We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer to join our US-based client’s team – a logistics company that provides an end-to-end express delivery infrastructure, specializing in e-commerce shipping. Utilizing underused cargo space on narrowbody aircraft like Boeing 737s for middle-mile transport, they combine air and ground services (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) to deliver packages across the U.S. within two business days, all at competitive ground rates.
They’re building a team of curious, adaptable engineers who thrive on using GenAI to accelerate development, reduce boilerplate, and drive innovation across diverse projects, including native apps, frontend, backend, and our infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Python and Django, building scalable backend services and APIs
- Hands-on frontend development experience with React
- Hands-on experience designing and developing AI/LLM-powered solutions, including integrating AI capabilities into existing backend systems and APIs
- Solid experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations, relational databases, data modeling, and performance optimization
- Experience with asynchronous/background processing using Temporal, Celery, or similar technologies
- Hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD, and production monitoring/observability
- Practical experience using Claude Code and/or Codex as part of the development workflow, including working with multiple AI coding sessions in parallel
- Strong communication skills and Upper-Intermediate+ English.
- Experience with logistics, transportation, delivery, or supply-chain products
- Experience with modernizing or replatforming existing systems
- Experience building human-in-the-loop AI workflows for real-world operational processes.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend and frontend services and APIs using Python/Django and React
- Modernize and replatform the existing solution architecture while extending the current platform
- Design and develop AI-powered solutions on top of existing APIs to support end-to-end logistics use cases, including human-in-the-loop workflows
- Develop and optimize data models, API performance, and integrations with third-party delivery and logistics networks
- Build and maintain asynchronous workflows and background processing using Temporal, Celery, or similar technologies
- Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to translate business requirements into production-ready features and contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews
- Support deployment, monitoring, and production reliability using AWS, GitLab CI, DataDog, and Sentry.
