The Evidence and Devices Engineering team is responsible for Motorola Solutions’ body cameras, vehicle cameras and evidence management software leveraged in public safety and enterprise applications worldwide.

We are seeking a proactive Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our evidence management software team in Sao Paulo, Brazil . In this role, you will operate directly at the intersection of software engineering and infrastructure, collaborating to resolve production challenges that span the entire stack—from the application code down to the network layer. Key Responsibilities
Advanced Troubleshooting & Analysis
Diagnose complex, intermittent, and high-impact issues within cloud infrastructure
Research and utilize specialized tools to analyze ongoing customer issues in live production environments
Optimize the entire stack by tweaking database queries, tuning application thread pools, and adjusting kernel parameters
Code-Level Reliability & Architecture
Review application source code in Java and Angular to identify memory leaks, race conditions, or inefficient logic
Identify single points of failure in our architecture and re-design them for redundancy and auto-recovery
Propose and implement code fixes directly to improve system-wide platform stability
Automation & Incident Response
Build internal tooling that empowers other software engineers to self-serve efficiently
Write automated scripts to ensure manual interventions are permanently engineered out of the ecosystem
Participate actively as a critical member of the on-call rota responding to major platform outrages
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Software Engineering roles
Legal authorization to work in Brazil is required

Angular to analyze frontend application anomalies and verify full-stack system behavior
Linux Operating Systems to observe system workloads and adjust core configuration parameters

Automation Engineering to build tools that eliminate repetitive, manual infrastructure tasks
Professional Experience
System Architecture to support the implementation of highly available and fault-tolerant cloud platforms
Incident Management to facilitate collaborative resolution protocols during critical platform service disruptions
Full-Stack Diagnostics to trace systemic errors from infrastructure layers up through application software lines
