Instruction and Student Support

Support classroom Teachers during push-in (co-teaching) and pull-out instructional sessions.

Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce language learning goals, vocabulary, and classroom tasks.

Assist students in understanding instructions, assignments, and classroom routines.

Provide support during assessments, following guidance on accommodations and scaffolds.
Classroom and Student Support

Help students develop organization, study skills, and academic routines.

Support student engagement, positive behavior, and confidence in classroom and small-group settings.

Assist with the preparation, organization, and adaptation of instructional materials.

Supervise students during transitions, learning activities, and ELL-related sessions as needed.
Collaboration and Professional Practice

Work collaboratively with ELL Teachers, classroom teachers, and student support staff.

Share observations about student progress and needs with the ELL Teacher.

Participate in meetings, training sessions, and professional learning as required.

Communicate professionally and respectfully with students, families, and colleagues.
