About the Role
We are looking for a Junior React Native Developer to help improve and maintain our mobile apps for iOS and Android.
You will work with real production code, fixing bugs, improving screens, testing features, and helping build new functionality. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who already has hands-on experience with mobile apps.
You must have contributed to at least one mobile app that is currently live on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
We are also looking for someone who regularly uses AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools to support their development workflow.
What You Will Do
- Build and improve mobile features using React Native CLI and TypeScript
- Fix bugs and improve existing app screens
- Test your work on both iOS and Android
- Help improve app performance, stability, and code quality
- Use AI tools to understand code, debug issues, and improve productivity
- Follow technical instructions and work independently in a remote environment
Required Skills
- React Native CLI
- TypeScript
- Mobile app development experience
- Experience with React Native mobile apps
- At least one live app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Basic understanding of mobile layouts and UI behavior
- Good written English
- Comfortable working remotely
- Daily or frequent use of AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools
AI Tools Requirement
We want someone who uses AI tools as part of their normal coding workflow.
You should be able to use AI tools to:
- Understand unfamiliar code
- Find and fix bugs
- Debug errors
- Improve code quality
- Learn faster
- Ask better technical questions
You must still understand the code you write. AI tools should support your work, not replace your judgment.
Nice to Have
- Internship, freelance, or personal project experience
- Frontend development experience
- Basic knowledge of mobile app performance
- Interest in health, nutrition, IoT, or hardware-connected apps
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R$2,100.00 - R$2,500.00 per month
