1. Execute Demand Planning Activities The role analyzes historical, promotional, and shipment trends using standard procedures to support forecasting processes. It ensures forecast inputs meet defined criteria and reflect accurate and complete information. These efforts improve forecast reliability and support operational, supply, and financial planning.
2. Support Integrated Portfolio Management Analytics The role collects and evaluates routine product performance metrics to assess alignment with business goals. It prepares standardized reports that identify trends, variances, and foundational performance drivers. This analysis provides visibility into product health and supports future prioritization decisions.
3. Maintain Planning Tools and Data Quality The role updates trackers, dashboards, and templates that support portfolio and demand planning cycles. It validates data accuracy by checking completeness and alignment with expected formats. These actions ensure consistency and reduce errors across planning processes.
4. Participate in Scenario Planning Activities The role compiles baseline data, supporting assumptions, and simple comparisons under guidance from more senior team members. It ensures scenario inputs follow established rules and reflect relevant historical patterns. These contributions enable the broader planning team to evaluate potential impacts of market shifts.
5. Coordinate Routine Cross Functional Data Exchanges The role provides timely updates, clarifications, and required information to internal partners such as Supply Chain or Finance. About the role:
We are looking for a Demand Planning Analyst (Pleno) to join our Supply Chain team in São Paulo. The ideal candidate is an analytical and results-driven professional with experience in demand planning, forecasting methodologies, statistical analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This individual will play a key role in improving forecast accuracy, supporting the S&OP/Integrated Business Management process, and enabling better business decisions through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update demand forecasts based on historical data, statistical models, market trends, and business assumptions.
- Monitor forecast performance through KPIs such as WMAPE and Bias, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
- Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support decision-making.
- Support Demand Review and S&OP/Integrated Business Management (IBM) meetings by preparing reports, analyses, and recommendations.
- Ensure alignment between demand, supply, and production plans to anticipate risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Planning, Logistics, Market Intelligence, and CPFR teams.
- Analyze forecast deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Document planning processes and track execution of agreed action plans.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning process.
- Contribute to inventory optimization, service level improvements, and supply chain efficiency.
Requirements | Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related fields.
- Advanced English.
- Intermediate Spanish.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, or related areas.
- Solid experience with demand forecasting and statistical analysis.
- Practical knowledge of statistical forecasting models & advanced data analysis capabilities.
- Experience building reports and dashboards using Power BI & advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Understanding of Demand Planning cycles and S&OP / Integrated Business Management (IBM) processes.
- Experience working with SAP APO or similar planning systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both commercial and operational teams.
- Proven ability to interact with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
