You are responsible for
- Assure the changes are implemented following the Design Controls process and best practices. Manage the Design History File.
- Acting in the medical devices hardware development. Designing PCBAs, cables, wiring and components following Philips' design controls process.
- Analyzing, optimize the existing hardware of our products.
- Evaluating electronic/ electrical components to help to define the project feasibility according to the required quality, cost and time criteria.
- Contributing to define and execute systemic and unit tests to verify the effectiveness of the design.
- Contributing to fix and improve the design of the products.
- Writing and maintaining the technical documentation according to Philips process
Support cross functional teams in technical affairs related to the devices.

You are a part of
A global R&D sustaining organization, which deal with medical devices assurance of supply, optimization and keeping the products compliance with the State-of-the-Art.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic)
- 6+ years of experience in Electronic development, as like as, Design, refinement, depuration, optimization of electronic circuitry, to evaluate, propose and implement components changes, optimization and other inherent tasks for product engineering work.
- Know-how in complex PCBA design (multi layers, BGA, high frequency signals), experience in design and troubleshooting for EMI, EMC issues, communications (USB, RS485, LVDS) and optical components and cables.
- Desired knowledge in Project Management, good organization and communication skills
- Advanced English skills to act in a global organization, working together Germany, USA and China teams
- It´s desirable to have experience with Electronica CADs (Orcad, Mentor, etc..).
