- Administer and support highly complex, large-scale enterprise Linux environments, ensuring high availability and peak performance across major distributions (Red Hat, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, SUSE).
- Lead deep-dive troubleshooting, incident response, and root-cause analysis (RCA) for critical infrastructure events.
- Design, develop, and implement robust automation solutions and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows utilizing Ansible, Bash, and Python to drive operational efficiency.
- Manage and optimize enterprise-level network services and traffic management tools, including DNS, DHCP, NTP, Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, and load balancing configurations.
- Orchestrate, scale, and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) and containerized ecosystems (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Implement and advocate for security best practices, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation across the infrastructure.
- Mentor, guide, and support junior and mid-level engineers, championing a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional, multinational teams to align infrastructure initiatives with overarching business goals and modern DevOps practices.
- Fluent/Native English communication skills (both written and verbal) to collaborate effectively within a multinational corporate environment.
- Proven experience as a Senior Linux Administrator, Support Engineer, or Systems Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Advanced technical knowledge of Linux operating systems, specifically Red Hat, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, and SUSE.
- Solid scripting and programming capabilities for automation using Bash and Python.
Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Practical experience managing virtualization (VMware, KVM) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with enterprise monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and security protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls, and Load Balancing.
- Strong analytical thinking, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of technical leadership.
- A continuous improvement mindset, proactive decision-making skills, and a results-oriented approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate, focus on customer satisfaction, and influence without direct authority.
- Official Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or RHCA) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA/CKAD).
- Associate or Professional level certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience working with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and ITIL processes.
- Knowledge of advanced storage technologies (SAN, NAS, Ceph, GlusterFS) and disaster recovery planning.
