We are looking for a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to join a leading international automotive project, working with cutting-edge technologies and highly complex safety-critical systems.
In this role, you will act as a Functional Safety Subject Matter Expert, driving safety activities throughout the complete ISO 26262 lifecycle, influencing system architecture decisions, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring the highest standards of safety compliance.

Functional Safety Leadership

Lead and execute Functional Safety activities across the full ISO 26262 lifecycle (Parts 1–5).

Ensure compliance with Functional Safety processes, methods, and work products.

Guide multidisciplinary teams on safety-related decisions and best practices.

Conduct and moderate safety reviews, audits, assessments, and inspections.
Safety Analysis & Concept Development
-
Define and review Item Definitions.
-
Perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA).
-
Derive Safety Goals and develop Functional Safety Concepts (FSC).
-
Develop Technical Safety Concepts (TSC), including derivation and allocation of Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs).

Ensure complete traceability from Safety Goals through implementation and validation.
System Architecture & Safety Mechanisms

Drive system architecture design with a strong safety focus.

Allocate requirements and define interfaces across system components.

Design and validate safety mechanisms, including:

Hardware Safety & Verification
