ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
As a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will support the end-to-end invoice to cash process and act as the main point of contact for customer billing and debt matters. You will help manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely cash collection in line with Credit Management best practices. Working closely with regional customers, you will help maintain customer debt at or below corporate targets while contributing to overall customer satisfaction with billing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Execute debt collection for an assigned portfolio of regional customers.

Serve as the main contact for invoice validation, billing queries, and account statements.

Manage live accounts to support SITA’s cash flow forecasts.

Proactively contact customers on due payments and allocate payments accurately.

Reconcile disputes and historical debts with customers.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues affecting cash collection or revenue recognition.

Build relationships to agree on repayment plans and manage service suspension for non-payment per policy.

Address customer satisfaction issues and provide training on invoices, payments, and billing tools.

Develop action plans based on customer surveys, complaints, and escalations; propose solutions.

Maintain and update customer data in CMS for reporting, billing, and escalation purposes.
Qualifications:
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in business or economics (or 2-years certificate plus degree equivalence acquired through working experience and training)

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in billing debt collection.

International Debt collection or Customer Billing experience an advantage.

Fluent in English, Portuguese and advance Spanish speaking skills.

Advanced user of MS Excel to manipulate & consolidate debtor or billing data and MS Office Lotus Notes

Strong relationship management skills and able to work across culturally diverse teams.

Effective communication skills including negotiation and presentation

Strong Financial Acumen & Attention to Detail

Member of ICM (Institute of Credit Management) an asset.
