We are looking for a specialized Senior Python Engineer to join our team.
This role focuses on modernizing cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and engineering practices within an AWS-centric environment. The position offers the opportunity to drive impactful migrations, contribute to AI-enabled engineering improvements, and shape secure, scalable platform foundations.
Responsibilities

Operate within a spec-driven software development lifecycle

Develop AI-driven enhancements for design, delivery, and triage practices

Assess emerging tools and solutions as potential candidates for enterprise-level AI enablement offerings
-
Design, build, and maintain AWS Lambda services and API Gateway endpoints using Python and boto3
-
Lead the CI/CD migration from legacy cicd-functions pipelines to GitHub Actions workflows
-
Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform as the primary tool, supported by Serverless frameworks

Carry out brownfield refactors, service decommissions, and migrations, such as OAuth migrations, WAF block-mode enablement, and Mythos SAST/SCA remediations

Configure and fine-tune AWS WAF rules and address security findings surfaced by SAST and SCA tooling
-
Automate operational workflows and contribute to agentic platform initiatives, with tools such as n8n, LangChain, or equivalent orchestration solutions considered a plus

Partner with the SRE Consultant on telemetry gaps and Lambda-based data collection automation
Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience

Python development background with a focus on AWS Lambda and API Gateway in production environments

Fluency with boto3 across services including IAM, Secrets Manager, SSM, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and WAF
-
Hands-on experience with Terraform for production-grade infrastructure as code, including writing, refactoring, and reviewing modules

Practical experience with the Serverless Framework, including maintaining and migrating legacy stacks

Hands-on authoring of CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, with comfort leading a cicd-functions to GHA migration
-
Experience configuring AWS WAF rules, enabling block mode, and supporting incident response

Familiarity with security tooling such as SAST and SCA, along with exposure to a structured compliance program

Brownfield mindset with a proven record of migrations, decommissions, and refactors rather than greenfield development

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (B2+ level or higher)
Nice to have

Experience integrating internal and third-party systems through REST APIs, including flows such as ServiceNow OAuth client credentials

Familiarity with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing, analytics, and data platform integration
