We are looking for a skilled and proactive Technical Superintendent to join our team and support the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of our vessels.
In this role, you will act as the key link between vessel operations and the onshore organization, ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and high operational standards across assigned vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical operation and maintenance of assigned vessels
- Ensure compliance with class, flag state, statutory, and company requirements
- Monitor vessel performance, maintenance planning, and spare parts management
- Support dry-docking, repairs, modifications, and inspections
- Control technical budgets and support cost optimization initiatives
- Coordinate with onboard crew, suppliers, shipyards, and internal stakeholders
- Follow up on HSEQ standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support operational reliability and minimize off-hire periods
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field;
- or sailing experience as Chief Engineer, Master, or Chief Officer
- Previous experience as Technical Superintendent, Vessel Manager, Marine Surveyor, or similar role is an advantage
- Advanced English skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with operational teams
