Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our Controllership team in Brazil. This role is pivotal in supporting our regional finance operations, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and driving strategic financial initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong accounting background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will play a key role in shaping the financial landscape of our organization and contributing to our success and growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership : Lead and oversee the execution of strategic financial projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Functional Oversight : Manage a significant area within the finance function, either geographically or within technical areas of expertise, ensuring operational excellence.
Team Guidance : Exemplify outstanding leadership by providing strategic guidance to other team members/peers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Engage with external auditors and cross-functional stakeholders independently.
Process Improvement : Drive operational process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. Lead efforts to implement innovative solutions.
Financial Expertise : Demonstrate a deep understanding of GAAP, anticipate and identify trends, and effectively present new ideas and insights. Serve as the technical voice of the team.
Communication : Ensure clear, succinct, and organized communication. Influence stakeholders at all levels and serve as a trusted resource and strategic business partner.

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is necessary.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant leadership experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a multinational environment.
Strong knowledge of Brazilian GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
Proven track record of leading financial process improvements, designing and implementing automation solutions.
Experience with implementing a Shared Center is desired.
Proficiency in financial analysis software and ERP systems is preferred.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
Experience in the tech or entertainment industry is desirable but not essential.
