We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) professional with strong expertise in OneStream and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) to support a critical enterprise finance transformation initiative. This role requires a unique blend of accounting expertise, EPM platform knowledge, business process understanding, and strong stakeholder alignment and decision-making capabilities.
The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between Finance, Accounting, FP&A, IT, and external implementation partners, primarily focusing on enabling alignment, facilitating decisions, and driving progress across the transformation. This is not a hands-on execution role, but rather a position that ensures initiatives move forward effectively by coordinating stakeholders and guiding outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in a complex enterprise environment involving multi-entity financial structures, consolidations, eliminations, and modernization of legacy EPM platforms. This position is especially suited for someone who has experience supporting migrations from Hyperion/HFM to OneStream from a functional and strategic perspective, ensuring the right decisions are made and effectively executed by implementation partners.
- Provide functional guidance and oversight for OneStream and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) environments.
- Support enterprise finance transformation initiatives, including migrations from legacy Hyperion platforms to OneStream.
- Contribute to EPM implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives from a functional and coordination perspective.
- Financial consolidations and close processes
- Reporting, dashboards, and analytics
- Planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Understand and validate workflows, business rules, metadata, calculations, security, and reporting capabilities within OneStream and HFM.
Provide strategic guidance regarding:
- Business process improvements
- Platform upgrades and new vendor capabilities
- AI-enabled finance transformation opportunities
Business & Technology Collaboration
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development and integration teams.
- Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements.
- Support solution design discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise finance objectives.
Financial Consolidation & Complex Business Structures
- Support consolidation and reporting requirements across complex parent/child company structures and multiple legal entities.
- Assist stakeholders in understanding how EPM platforms facilitate enterprise consolidation and reporting operations.
- Financial ownership structures
- Apply strong accounting and finance knowledge to validate financial processes and system behavior.
Systems Integration & Data Management
- Maintain a high-level understanding of integrations between OneStream/HFM and upstream/downstream systems, including ERP platforms, data warehouses, and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with integration and data teams on: Data mappings, Validation rules, Reconciliation processes, Automation opportunities, Ensure data quality, governance, auditability, and compliance across EPM solutions.
Partner & Project Coordination
- Collaborate effectively with system integrators, consultants, and managed service providers.
- Contribute to Solution design, Implementation planning, Project governance, Risk tracking, Timeline management, Review partner deliverables to ensure alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards. Actively help unblock stalled initiatives by aligning stakeholders and facilitating timely decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with: OneStream Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions
- Strong accounting and finance background, specifically in: Financial consolidation Intercompany eliminations Enterprise financial reporting
- Experience supporting EPM implementations, enhancements, or migration initiatives.
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments involving multiple subsidiaries or legal entities.
- Strong understanding of workflows, metadata, business rules, security models, and calculations within EPM platforms (conceptual understanding sufficient; hands-on configuration not required).
- Experience collaborating with: Finance teams Technology organizations System integration partners External consulting firms
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced English.
- CPA or equivalent accounting designation.
- Experience supporting migration initiatives from Hyperion/HFM to OneStream.
- Experience in enterprise finance transformation or ERP modernization programs.
- Knowledge of EPM data flows, integrations, and automation frameworks.
- Experience working in project recovery or re-baseline initiatives.
- Familiarity with enterprise governance, audit, and compliance requirements.
