Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role

Build, maintain, and qualify a regional pipeline covering payment and transit smart card opportunities across the territory. Drive opportunities through design-in, design-win, and production ramp stages with rigorous CRM discipline. Own design-win KPIs as the primary performance metric and support Sales Operations on revenue forecasting inputs

Manage and grow strategic existing accounts including card manufacturers, personalization bureaus, and key end customers. Protect incumbent positions against competitive threats through technical lock-in and roadmap alignment. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing base

Identify and qualify greenfield opportunities across the territory, with focus on underserved markets in Mexico, Colombia, and Andean countries. Develop entry strategies for new accounts and engage with the fintech and neobank segment

Lead technical discussions at customer level across the full depth spectrum, from chip and firmware specifications with R&D teams to certification roadmaps with program managers. Coordinate with internal FAE and Applications Engineering for deep technical support

Monitor competitive dynamics, pricing movements, and scheme-driven market shifts. Feed structured intelligence to Product Marketing and Regional Marketing to inform roadmap priorities. Track regulatory and scheme changes and translate them into commercial opportunity

Interface with Sales Operations on forecast inputs and order management escalations. Coordinate with Product Marketing for regional G2M execution. Engage with the Product Line to advocate for regional customer requirements on roadmap and certification prioritization

Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related technical field

7 to 12 years of total professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years in technical sales, FAE, or business development in semiconductors, smart card ICs, secure elements, or adjacent embedded security markets

Demonstrated track record managing design-win cycles with long gestation periods, including experience working with both card manufacturers and end-customer decision chains simultaneously. Demonstrated experience working in, or with customers in at least two of the following markets: Brazil, Argentina, Chile

Technical competencies include working knowledge of ISO/IEC 7816,ISO/IEC 14443, and EMVCo specifications; familiarity with payment scheme certification processes (Visa, Mastercard, Elo) and transit interoperability frameworks; ability to engage at chip, firmware, and applet level with customer technical teams; and understanding of card personalization processes and bureau qualification cycles
