About the Opportunity
As an Analytics Engineer Tech Lead, you will be responsible for designing and leading analytics projects end-to-end, serving as the technical reference for projects of varying levels of complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects from conception through implementation and results monitoring.
- Design, build, and structure scalable data models using Modern Data Stack (MDS) tools.
- Design Data Warehouse (DW), data pipeline, and Business Intelligence (BI) architectures.
- Define, implement, and oversee processes, standards, and best practices related to the Modern Data Stack.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders on the creation, documentation, and adoption of data pipelines.
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams, bridging the gap between business challenges and technical solutions.
- Develop training programs and support the implementation of data processes across business areas.
- Work on complex projects, answering business questions through data visualization and advanced statistical analysis.
- Ensure the application of quality controls across the team.
- Propose new data product solutions alongside data teams and business users.
- Coordinate the implementation of data-related metrics and processes within business areas.
- Plan and execute migration, architecture, platform, and data product projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience defining Data Warehouse architectures, optimizing production models, and implementing development, maintenance, and adoption processes for data products.
- Experience designing and implementing data platform projects of varying scales and complexity.
- Advanced knowledge of cost and performance optimization for large-scale data models.
- Strong experience optimizing processes related to data platforms (DataOps, SecOps, DevOps).
- Demonstrated ability to solve business problems through a multidisciplinary perspective that combines data and business expertise.
- Experience leading data teams and enabling efficient value delivery through data platforms.
- Experience defining structure and modeling standards for dbt projects.
- Proven leadership of end-to-end analytics projects.
- Advanced SQL and database expertise (window functions, macros, indexes, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge across the Modern Data Stack ecosystem (Databases, Data Warehouses, dbt, Cloud Platforms, BI Tools).
- Experience integrating projects across multiple data sources and business domains.
- Advanced experience with analytical tools (Excel, BI platforms, etc.).
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience creating, documenting, and implementing business KPIs.
- Experience presenting metrics and insights to executive leadership.
- Strong passion for solving problems through data visualization.
- Advanced expertise in one or more business domains.
- Advanced knowledge of R/Python (or equivalent), focused on data manipulation and visualization.
- Advanced Git knowledge.
- Strong understanding of advanced statistics and machine learning techniques.
- Experience with Figma or similar prototyping tools.
- Results-oriented mindset with excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Solid knowledge of AI and its practical applications.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Nice to Have:
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification.
- Professional/Specialty-level certification in a public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), or equivalent.
- Postgraduate degree in Data, Analytics, or a related field.
- dbt Certification.
- Professional-level Databricks certifications.
