Conduct critical analysis and technical validation of Socio-Environmental Risk assessments required by International Development Banks.
Ensure compliance with international Sustainability standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Coordinate interfaces with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders to obtain and refine analyses.
Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in studies and documents produced by portfolio companies, considering compliance with socio-environmental risk management standards established by International Development Banks, and propose action plans.
Consolidate and report portfolio results for governance bodies, committees, and investment-related decision-making processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Geography, Geology, or related fields.
Solid experience in Environmental and Social Risk Management (due diligences, management plans, monitoring, and follow-up).
Practical knowledge of the operations of International Development Banks.
Practical experience in implementing and managing socio-environmental risk management requirements of International Development Banks, with emphasis on Biodiversity risks, Ecosystem Services, and impact mitigation and compensation measures.
Strong analytical skills for the critical review of studies, technical reports, and ESG indicators.
Clear communication skills, collaborative profile, and ability to engage technically with multiple stakeholders.
Fluency in English is preferred.
Fluency in Spanish is desirable
