Role Overview:
The Key Account Executive will play a key role in expanding platform assortment and managing high-performing seller partnerships. The position involves identifying fast-moving SKUs, onboarding relevant sellers, negotiating competitive deals, and ensuring strong performance across key commercial metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and prioritize fast-moving, high-demand products across Electronics, FMCG, Fashion, and General Merchandise.
• Onboard strategic sellers (manufacturers, importers, distributors) to supply identified products.
• Negotiate competitive pricing to ensure Daraz offers the best value in the market.
• Drive seller participation in campaigns through offers like price-offs, bundles, and BOGOs.
• Promote Daraz Marketing Solutions (DMS) to improve seller visibility and performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sellers to enhance satisfaction and retention.
• Manage a portfolio of sellers and ensure achievement of KPIs such as revenue, fill rate, OOS, and pricing.
• Oversee SKU creation and coordinate with warehouse/operations for managed sellers.
• Analyze product and seller data to drive informed commercial decisions.
• Present portfolio and performance updates to internal stakeholders and senior management.
Position Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce, sales, or key account/category management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to interpret data for decision-making.
• Fluency in English and Tamil (spoken and written) is highly preferred to effectively manage seller communications.
