As a Staff LLMOps Engineer, you are a technical leader who sets the architectural bar for our Large Language Model Operations (LLMOps) platform and models the future of how engineering squads scale feature delivery. You understand that writing code by hand is no longer the operational bottleneck; instead, true leverage comes from system design, evaluation-driven iteration, well-shaped tools, and graph interfaces. You own the strategic roadmap for our multi-turn, tool-utilizing agent runtime, ensuring it seamlessly delivers product value via Application Programming Interface (API) services to hundreds of thousands of users. You pair deeply with cross-functional teams to transform abstract constraints into scalable solutions while driving developer velocity.

In your daily routine, you will:
- Evolve the shared graph-based orchestration runtime and state schema patterns to enable engineering squads to deploy user-facing artificial intelligence agents rapidly
- Architect the platform evaluation framework, utilizing golden datasets and continuous integration gating to systematically prevent quality regressions
- Define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and observability dashboards to monitor real-time agent quality, latency, system health, and processing costs
- Orchestrate real-time voice interaction infrastructure, establishing strict latency budgets and turn-taking logic to ensure high platform reliability
- Design secure, multi-tenant software development kits and platform interface contracts that make integration paths obvious and secure by default
- Formulate internal playbooks, context structures, and sub-agent conventions to optimize the workspace efficiency of our engineering organization
- Optimize foundational model selection, tool-call parameters, caching protocols, and batch processing to drive financial and operational efficiency
- Foster technical excellence across Applied AI teams by executing comprehensive design reviews, technical pairing sessions, and authoring core implementation guides
- Review both human and machine-generated codebase contributions with an emphasis on maintainability, loose coupling, and defensive engineering practices

We think that this offer is for you if you:
- ✅ 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2+ years specialized in operating Large Language Model (LLM) platforms, agents, or LLMOps architectures
- ✅ Advanced proficiency in Python and async Application Programming Interface (API) frameworks (i.e. FastAPI) with a track record of designing testable, instrumented production services
- ✅ Hands-on experience developing state machines, conditional edges, and persistent graphs using machine learning orchestration tools (i.e. LangGraph, LangChain) in production
- ✅ Deep technical understanding of foundational model interfaces, including structured outputs, tool calling, prompt caching, and rate-limit mitigation strategies
- ✅ Experience constructing evaluation harnesses, LLM-as-judge frameworks, trace sampling protocols, and continuous integration testing workflows (i.e. LangSmith)
- ✅ Proficiency building observability monitors, infrastructure metrics, alerts, and system dashboards within enterprise operations tools (i.e. Datadog)
- ✅ Broad cloud-native engineering background across Amazon Web Services (AWS), container orchestration (i.e. Kubernetes), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and Infrastructure as Code (i.e. Terraform, Terragrunt)
- ✅ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience
