Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site QA Software Engineer role based in São Paulo.This position combines structured test design, manual and automated validation, API testing, and technical debugging across multiple environments.
You will work closely with developers, SDETs, and product teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the software lifecycle. Success in this role is defined by strong analytical skills, clear documentation, proactive defect identification, and contribution to continuous QA improvement.
Test Planning & Execution
- Translate product requirements into structured test plans and test cases
- Validate deployments across stable, beta, integration, and production environments
- Perform root cause analysis and maintain defect backlogs
- Conduct manual and automated testing across browsers and devices
- Validate UX consistency, responsiveness, and accessibility
- Report visual and functional defects with clear reproduction steps
- Design and execute API test cases using tools such as Postman
- Validate request/response formats, error handling, and integration flows
Automation & Framework Contribution
- Contribute to and maintain existing automation frameworks
- Define user journeys and test coverage models for critical workflows
- Diagnose and resolve automation-related issues
- Monitor dashboards, logs, and internal QA tools
Technical Debugging & Monitoring
- Debug defects using logs, API traces, and database queries
- Monitor system health and test results across environments
Collaboration & Communication
- Participate in standups, retrospectives, and sprint planning
- Communicate risks, blockers, and solutions clearly
- Collaborate with developers, SDETs, and product managers to improve quality processes
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain test plans, risk reports, and bug tracking logs
- Provide feedback on QA tools and contribute to process improvements
