Set sail with OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on an offshore accommodation vessel (flotel) in Brazil. You will support safe and efficient engine room operations, working in a professional team with a strong focus on safety and reliability.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines
- Carry out routine checks, inspections, and planned maintenance
- Monitor machinery performance and report any faults or abnormalities
- Keep engine room logs and records up to date and accurate
- Follow all safety procedures and support environmental protection measures
- Assist senior engineers during repairs and troubleshooting
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or equivalent) license
- Previous sea service in a similar rank, preferably on offshore vessels or flotels
- All required STCW certificates and valid medical fitness
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew
- Willingness to work in Brazil and follow company and client procedures
