We are looking for a Senior SAP MDM Consultant to work on the SAP S/4HANA implementation project, responsible for strategy, governance, modeling, data sanitation, migration, and data loading, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to best SAP practices and business processes. This consultant can focus on MM and have MDM knowledge. The professional will perform transversal work, interacting with functional, technical, and business areas, playing an important role as both an executor and a leader in the Master Data topic.
Responsibilities

Define and lead the Master Data Management strategy in SAP S/4HANA projects

Conduct business analysis, data sanitation (cleansing), enrichment, and master data registration activities

Adjust the development of the data model and organizational structures, including Business Partner, Material Master, Customer/Vendor, and related entities

Plan and execute data loading and migration (ETL) activities for SAP S/4HANA
-
Guarantee quality, consistency, and governance of master data, including the definition of rules, controls, and validation
-
Work in an integrated way with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, PP, CO, etc.) and technical counterparts

Support the definition of roles, responsibilities, and data governance processes

Participate in workshops, client validation sessions, and integrated tests

Identify risks related to master data and provide mitigation plans

Produce functional and technical documentation related to MDM

Support cutover and go-live activities, ensuring data stability throughout the process
Requirements
-
At least 3 years of professional relevant expertise as a SAP MDM / Data Migration Consultant on SAP projects

Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, including Greenfield and Brownfield approaches
-
Hands-on experience with LTMOM and LSMW for data migration activities

Practical experience with ETL processes, data validation, and post-load reconciliation

Good understanding of data impacts across FI, MM, SD, and CO modules
-
Senior, consultative, and hands-on profile with a strong focus on delivery

Ability to conduct technical and functional discussions with business areas

Strong sense of organization, critical thinking, and attention to detail
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to work effectively under pressure and with multiple stakeholders
-
Proactive attitude, solution-oriented mindset, and focus on continuous improvement

Experience acting as a technical/functional reference for data-related topics

Comfortable working in English-speaking environments (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have

Experience with SAP Activate methodology, especially in the Prepare, Explore, and Deploy phases

Experience in international projects or multi-company environments

Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Ownership practices

SAP certifications related to S/4HANA or MDG
