Work Schedule: US Timezone (Flexible) Overlap with US business hours required (Monday–Friday)
Compensation Range: $1500 USD/month based on experience
A YC-backed PropTech SaaS company is hiring an Operations Manager to own high-volume backend customer operations and surface opportunities for process automation across the platform.
The business builds software that streamlines operational workflows across the homebuilding and real estate ecosystem — managing documentation, records, and system updates at scale. It runs as a lean, founder-led, async-first team investing in operational scalability as it grows.
Day-to-day, the role executes operational tickets, maintains customer records and documentation, maps repeatable workflows into SOPs, and flags repetitive tasks for automation. Success means faster, more accurate operations execution, scalable SOPs, and a steady pipeline of automation opportunities handed off to engineering.
Requirements
Must-Have
-
3+ years in operations, implementation, customer operations, or backend operational support

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, data management, high-volume record handling)

Demonstrated experience executing repetitive, high-volume backend operational workflows across customer accounts

Hands-on experience with ticketing and project management tools (JIRA, Linear)

Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack for async collaboration

Experience mapping and documenting operational processes into SOPs

B2+ English (CEFR) for written async communication with a US-based team
Nice-to-Have

Experience with automation tools such as Zapier or Make

Basic scripting experience in Python or JavaScript, or SQL familiarity

SaaS operations, implementation, or customer onboarding background

Exposure to PropTech, real estate, or homebuilding industries

Familiarity with Intercom or similar customer support platforms
