PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The position scope covers:
- Materials planning (local and international)
- Inventory management
- Customer attendance/relationship (OEM, Aftermarket and Intercompany) management
- Internal and external logistics management
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Lead SIOP process (customer demand, strategy definition, capacity management, results and plans management).
B. Develop profit plan (Inventory $’s and DOH, Cost Out, Supplier OTD, Customer OTD, Sales, freight).
C. Develops a core set of metrics for Materials management and assure goals achievement thru leading and lagging metrics aligned with Profit and Strategic Plan Goals.
D. Drives site to Model Plant (Best Practice) disciplines in all facets of Materials Management
E. Ensure Materials management related roles competencies, processes execution and organizational capability
F. Leads the prescribed use and improvement of the site/division ERP system.
G. Lead materials management assessment (MMA) and OpA assessments as well as owning the materials management related actions plans to close any reported OFI’s.
H. Uses continuous improvement framework activities like lean/vsm or six sigma initiatives to drive continued stability and robust/repeatable standard process.
I. Drive Customer service attendance to leverage satisfaction and assure customer centricity.
