We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team to help design, scale, and harden the data platform powering our world‑class Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) reporting stack.
Responsibilities

Debug and enhance data modeling practices across OLTP (Postgres) and OLAP (StarRocks) database systems

Design and execute schema changes, backfills, and large-scale migrations without disrupting service continuity

Tune query performance and optimize storage design to support both transactional and analytical workloads

Propose ongoing improvements and contribute to architectural decisions that help scale the analytics platform
Requirements
-
A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
-
Significant, hands-on experience working as a DBA or data engineer with relational databases such as PostgreSQL at scale
-
Strong knowledge of OLAP technologies, including StarRocks or equivalent columnar/analytics databases
-
Experience with data warehousing concepts and practices
-
Ability to debug and optimize query performance and storage design across both OLTP and OLAP systems
-
Working knowledge of software development using Kotlin or Golang
-
A strong inclination toward building performant, efficient, and safe data solutions at scale
-
Self-motivated and collaborative, capable of working independently within a team setting while mentoring others

Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with team members and stakeholders
-
Strong written and spoken proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have

Experience with AWS Aurora for managing scalable relational database services

Background in data modeling to support efficient and reliable data structures

Skills in database performance tuning to optimize query execution and storage efficiency

Familiarity with Docker for containerizing applications and services

Working knowledge of Java for software development tasks

Experience with Kubernetes for orchestrating and managing containerized workloads
-
Familiarity with Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure as code
-
Comfort working in a Unix-based environment, including Linux for pods and macOS for workstations

Experience with data engineering pipelines, including tools such as Flink, Kafka, and ETL/ELT processes
