Backend JavaScript Engineer at BairesDev
As a Backend JavaScript Engineer, you will design and develop scalable server-side applications within the Node ecosystem. You will be responsible for creating robust APIs and event-driven services that power seamless integrations and high-performance web applications.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Architect and implement secure REST and GraphQL APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations.
- Develop event-driven services and manage asynchronous patterns to ensure system responsiveness and scalability.
- Optimize database performance and data modeling using PostgreSQL or MongoDB for complex data requirements.
- Deploy and manage backend services on cloud infrastructure such as AWS Lambda or ECS.
- Ensure code quality and system reliability through comprehensive unit and integration testing with Jest or Vitest.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Backend Engineering, focusing on Node.js and TypeScript.
- Proven expertise in designing and shipping REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous programming patterns and event-driven services.
- Proficiency in working with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Solid understanding of deploying and managing services on AWS Lambda or ECS.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
