HPM Project Manager
The HPM Project Leader drives complex design change initiatives across the HPM portfolio, leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver business-critical solutions that support product lifecycle management, innovation, and customer needs.
As an HPM Project Leader, you will lead medium to large-scale design change projects for existing products within the HPM portfolio. You will be responsible for driving project execution from planning through delivery while balancing timelines, risks, resources, and business objectives.
In this role, you will collaborate with global cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity. Depending on business needs and organizational structure, you may also provide leadership and guidance to a small team of Project Leaders.
You will:
Lead complex design change projects and strategic initiatives across the HPM product portfolio.
Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, budget, quality, and business objectives.
Drive collaboration across global cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Management, Marketing, and other key stakeholders.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing challenges and removing barriers to execution.
Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across different functions, regions, and organizational levels to drive alignment and decision-making.
Apply project management best practices and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Support project teams through guidance, coordination, and knowledge sharing, fostering engagement and collaboration.
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to a small team of Project Leaders when applicable, supporting their development and project success.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen project execution, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness.
Ensure customer needs and business priorities remain at the center of project decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, lessons learned, and best practices to support organizational knowledge sharing.
Contribute to strategic discussions and help shape project priorities that support business goals and long-term portfolio success.
You have successfully led complex, cross-functional projects, balancing competing priorities and driving initiatives from planning through execution and delivery.
You are skilled at influencing stakeholders, building alignment, and navigating complex organizational environments across functions and geographies.
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, Program Management, or a related technical field.
You demonstrate strategic thinking, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for continuous improvement. Experience leading global projects, coordinating diverse teams, and providing leadership to a small team of Project Leaders is highly valued.
You possess strong English communication skills, with the ability to confidently participate in meetings, influence stakeholders, and collaborate with global teams in a dynamic international environment.
PMP certification and familiarity with Agile, PMBOK, or SAFe methodologies are considered a plus.
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per wee k. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is a hybrid role based in Varginha, MG, Brazil, requiring on-site presence three days per week.
