Join OSM Thome as a Steward/Stewardess on an offshore seismic/research vessel operating in Brazil. In this role, you will support the crew and vessel operations by keeping living and working areas clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Key responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and order in accommodation, mess rooms, galley and common areas
- Assist with meal service, including setting tables, serving food and cleaning up
- Handle laundry, cabin cleaning and linen changes for crew and officers
- Support galley staff with basic food preparation and dishwashing as required
- Follow onboard hygiene, safety and environmental procedures at all times
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Steward/Stewardess or similar role onboard vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and offshore documents as per Brazilian and company requirements
- Good command of English; Portuguese is an advantage
- Fit for offshore duty and able to work in rotation
- Positive attitude, good teamwork skills and service-minded approach
