About the Role
Guydeez is looking for passionate local hosts in Rio de Janeiro to lead private, personalized walking experiences for small groups of international visitors.
This role is ideal for people who enjoy storytelling, cultural exchange, and showcasing the authentic spirit of their city. No professional guiding license is required.
What You’ll Do
- Lead private walking experiences (3–8 hours) across Rio de Janeiro
- Showcase landmarks, culture, and everyday local life
- Personalize each experience based on guest interests and pace
- Share authentic stories, insights, and local recommendations
- Create a welcoming, safe, and memorable experience
- (Optional) Host food or cultural-themed experiences
Profile Required
- Strong knowledge of Rio de Janeiro, including iconic sites and hidden gems
- Fluent in at least one language: English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Chinese, or Portuguese
- Friendly, confident, and engaging communication style
- Comfortable hosting walking experiences lasting several hours
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or guiding is a plus but not required
