A global diagnostics company is seeking an experienced commercial professional to support business growth and channel development across Brazil.
The company operates internationally within the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry and provides a portfolio of diagnostic products serving laboratories, hospitals, and healthcare institutions. An established local technical support team is already in place to support commercial activities.
Position Summary
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for developing and managing the company's distributor network and driving sales growth within the Brazilian market.
This position requires strong experience in the IVD, clinical diagnostics, laboratory diagnostics, or medical device industry, along with a successful track record in channel management and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for the Brazilian market.
- Identify, recruit, and manage distributors and channel partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with laboratories, hospitals, diagnostic centers, and healthcare stakeholders.
- Drive sales growth and achieve annual revenue targets.
- Support distributor training, business planning, and performance management.
- Work closely with technical support and regional management teams.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Prepare sales forecasts and business reports.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Minimum 5 years of sales, business development, or channel management experience within one of the following industries:
- In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD)
- Clinical Diagnostics
- Laboratory Diagnostics
- Medical Devices
- Healthcare Equipment
- Experience managing distributors or channel partners.
- Professional-level English communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.
Preferred
- Existing relationships with laboratories, hospitals, diagnostic centers, or healthcare distributors in Brazil.
- Experience working for multinational healthcare, diagnostics, or medical device companies.
- Experience launching products or developing new markets.
- Experience achieving annual sales targets exceeding USD 1 million.
