The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements and developing technical-commercial solutions and proposals that align with client needs and company standards. Will act as a key technical reference throughout the proposal and project development process, supporting sales activities, engineering definition, and customer engagement to ensure competitive and high-quality solutions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Interpret the needs and requirements of potential customers.

Evaluate technical tender specifications, review proposal requests, analyze customer requirements, and size technical solutions according to customer needs.

Prepare cost estimations for equipment and/or projects.

Develop technical-commercial proposals for products and projects.
-
Serve as a point of contact for the sales team regarding technical-commercial matters.

Prepare basic process engineering documentation (e.g., mass balances, process flow diagrams, layouts, etc.).

Stay informed about technological advancements and industry trends.

Conduct technical-commercial visits to customers when required.

Provide technical support to the Technical Service team for projects under your responsibility.

Act as the technical lead for projects under your responsibility.

Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Develop technical specifications for equipment and projects.

Support marketing activities by participating in trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Job Requirements

Academic level: Degree in Chemical Engineering or other disciplines with process training.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years chemical experience with 2 to 5 years in Proposals Engineer position.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer tools, experience with ERP systems, basic knowledge of AutoCAD, simulation software (preferred), Visio (preferred), MS Project (preferred) and SignS7 (preferred).

Languages: Intermediate/advanced Spanish and technical English are required

Must be able to commute to our office in Jundiaí.
