Corteva is looking for an experienced Latin America Seed Operations Finance Manager. This individual is responsible for partnering with the Latin America Seed Operations team to manage over $1B of Cost of Goods Sold and Other Cost of Revenue.
Candidate should display ability to clearly articulate financial impact of business decisions while working collaboratively with business partners to evaluate multiple outcomes. Owner’s mindset and ability to influence are highly desired for this role.
This role reports to the Regional Finance Leader and serves as a strategic partner to the Latin America Seed Operations Senior Director and leadership team to provide timely, accurate and insightful financial information, understanding critical drivers and improvement areas for all cost of revenue buckets for the region.
Responsibilities – How will you help us grow?
Partner with Latin America Seed Operations leadership team to drive efficient and effective use of assets and resources to manage Cost of Goods Sold
Responsible for analysis of monthly actuals and forecast to ensure accurate reflection of expectations, including P&L and balance sheet
Actively incorporate inventory implications are part of business decision evaluations
Work collaboratively with Latin America seed controllership to anticipate and incorporate key assumption changes
Act a finance lead in monthly supply review process
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive productivity projects and ensure accurate financial impact
Finance lead for varied strategic analyses to support the business including Asset Footprint, Make vs Buy, M&A, and Capital
Active business partner to identify risks & opportunities and key actions to mitigate
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Corteva Finance function
Ensure controls compliance and ethical standards
Collaborate with Global Supply Chain Finance and Production leaders to align regional performance with enterprise-wide strategy and drive consistency in financial and operational decision-making

Education
Experience
5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with preference for:
Manufacturing or supply chain environments
Cost accounting or operations finance roles
Advanced proficiency in Excel (required)
Experience with SAP (preferred)
Knowledge of Power BI or data visualization tools (a plus)
Reports to – LATAM Regional Finance Lead
Location – Brazil required
Travel – <10% occasional travel to Plant Sites throughout Latin America
Language requirements: Portuguese, English, Spanish
