As a Product Development Engineer, your will main goal with to develop new product designs based upon customer expectations, applying project management principles to effectively accomplish goals and objectives on time and within budgetary constraints. In detail, you will:
Lead and contribute to the development of new designs, from individual components to complete systems or products, taking ownership to ensure alignment with project requirements and targets for time, cost, and quality.
Drive module development activities as a project manager, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery according to scope, timing, cost, and performance targets.
Own and ensure the quality and completeness of project documentation (e.g. ECR, ECN, PPAP, specifications), with accountability for compliance with internal processes and governance.
- Drive prototyping and validation activities, coordinating laboratory testing and applying advanced quality tools (e.g. FMEA, DFMAA, PSRA, Tolerance Analysis) to ensure design robustness and proactive risk mitigation.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).
Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset, engaging stakeholders effectively while demonstrating ownership, accountability, and problem-solving skills to drive results.
You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba. One of the focal points for all Latin American Electrolux operations, this plant is the base for over 3200 collaborators, all focused on transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their work.
