Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a PSV operating offshore Brazil. We are looking for an experienced professional with strong leadership and solid offshore support vessel background to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Lead deck team and supervise all bridge and deck operations
- Plan and monitor cargo, DP operations and supply runs
- Maintain safe navigation, voyage planning and watchkeeping
- Oversee stability, ballast and cargo calculations
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
- Support the Master in day-to-day vessel management and emergency response
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer / Chief Mate license (STCW II/2 or equivalent)
- Recent experience as C/O on PSV or similar offshore vessels
- DP certification and offshore experience preferred
- Valid STCW safety courses, medical and offshore certificates
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and proven leadership on board
